The key to a healthy lifestyle is having the best choices to enrich the human spirit. That is why our innovative Pathways to Wellness program is at the heart of all we do. Pathways to Wellness takes a holistic approach to empower all our residents to reach their highest potential.

With a wide variety of programming available, there is something at Hermitage Deep Run for everyone. You can get your blood pumping in our daily exercise classes or by taking a stroll on our paved walking path. Explore your talents during one of our many musical performances or music therapy sessions, or nurture your artistic side with creative projects like watercolor painting, wreath-making or flower arranging.

You will have a voice in key community issues, as you join in on our monthly Resident Council meetings and Chef Chats. Keep your mind sharp with our word games, card games and trivia. Enjoy a moment of peace by taking part in our pet therapy sessions or church services. You can also give back and find your purpose by taking part in one of our community service projects.

At every turn, our dedicated team encourages you to get on your pathway to wellness from the moment you join us and will support you on your journey to an enhanced quality of life.

Hermitage Deep Run offers numerous opportunities to enhance your fitness level. From fitness classes to balance programs and water aerobics, our programs are a great way to build strength, develop greater self-esteem and keep you looking and feeling great!

Even if you’ve never held a paintbrush or thrown a pot, we encourage artistic expression for all our residents through programs such as oil painting, weaving, pottery, crafts and photography.

Many Hermitage Deep Run residents give back to the greater community by volunteering for causes important to them. You can also put your talents to work by volunteering on campus and serving on various committees and clubs, including our Resident Council, Knitters’ Group or Medical Escort Program.

We believe in a healthy diet, nutritional foods and promoting healthy eating habits for everyone through our renowned dining options. We also lend additional support with specific programs, like our popular cooking classes.
